Rock Band 2 Hype Fest Part IV

Today's batch of Rock Band 2 footage features well "Today" by Smashing Pumpkins (easy song), Pearl Jam's "Alive," a full band run of "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, one of the hardest songs in the game (guitar), and the Stephen Colbert song, "Charlene," that was out as free DLC yesterday.

Rock Band 2 Hype Fest III

We're getting closer to Sunday as more people are getting lucky already getting Rock Band 2 at stores that broke the street date. Today's batch features the highly anticipated Guns & Roses song, "Shackler's Revenge," a Guitar Hero II favorite, "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas, and one of my favorites Paramore with "That's What You Get."

An Alternate Ending to Super Mario Bros.

This alternate ending is according to the guy who makes Family Guy and American Dad. Looks like the Princess wasn't too impressed.

Rock Band 2 Hype Fest Part I

Sunday is going to be awesome with Rock Band 2 on my hands, but as predicted, some folks got the game early and unleashing footage on YouTube. Here's "The Middle" and "One Step Closer" for a start (hyperspeed is indeed in) as they are some of my favorite songs.

Street Fighter IV at FFA (Tournament footage)

Walnut is not the only place in SoCal that has Street Fighter IV, which is also at Granada Hills' Family Fun Arcade (another successful arcade that top players go to). For me, its basically almost a hour compared to 15 minutes, but it has a better SFIV setup than Super with HDTVs (It is a dollar to play compared to 75 cents at Super). Here's tournament footage with Street Fighter pro veterans Alex Valle and Combofiend.
