Gouken footage in Street Fighter IV

As Capcom promised, Gouken is out at Japan as a secret boss in Street Fighter IV (Probably a week or two before he is playable unless he is now everywhere else). In order to fight him, certain number of perfects and not losing a round is required to do so. At least he doesn't play like a shoto at first even though he did teach Ryu and Ken those moves. He has no special Shoryuken (His Ultra is the Shin Shoryuken seen in this clip). His order specials are a Hurricane Kick that is similar to Ryu's in SF2 Hyper Fighting, another Hurricane Kick that does do vertical (semi-similar to Ken's MVC2 Hurricane Kick), Haduokens that can go horizontally or diagonally, and a dash-like punch. His focus attack is Ryu's Blade Kick from SF3: 3rd Strike. No word on whether or not Gouken will be gimped when playable like Akuma with his low stamina, but so far Gouken is finally in a Street Fighter game and that alone is cool.

Also, here's the latest anime trailer that was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con now in direct feed that focuses on Chun-Li, Guile, and Cammy (in the console versions). Check elsewhere for the English version if you don't know what they're saying.

Rock Band 2 gets red hot again on Tuesday

Tuesday will be the third album in three weeks up on Rock Band 2 (and the first one if you're still playing that) which is Blood Sugar Sex Magik by the Red Hot Chili Peppers for 20 bucks. I'm excited for this release because of certain songs like "Under the Bridge" (video above) . This is also the second album in a row I will buy in full (Rush's Moving Pictures definitely lived up to the hype as a great RB album). With this and Megadeth's Peace Sells (I didn't get this one) out already, who knows when the other four albums Harmonix promised like the Foo Fighters and No Doubt will be out.
