Nintendo reenergizes my interest in Wii and DS again

Nintendo fans should be happy today with their Japanese conference of announcing some bombs. The new DSi is looking like another impulse purchase for me (like the DS Lite), but I think it will be worth it in the long run with camera features, SD card storage, new shop for downloadable games (DSware), and more despite the GBA slot not in it anymore (180 bucks - but confirmed for Japan in November for now - maybe confirmed for here at the U.S. tomorrow with another press event).

Other than the DSi, Nintendo has figured out a storage solution to the Wii's "fringe" of direct downloading to a SD card starting sometime next year. In addition, new games like Punch-Out Wii and Sin & Punishment 2 has rejuvenated interest for me of keeping that system now.

That's it for now - Nintendo is not done yet with another press thing tomorrow likely announcing the same stuff.

New Super SFII Turbo HD Remix footage

A GameSpot tournament consists of both Street Fighter IV and Super SFII Turbo HD Remix that is going on this week. We all know how awesome SF IV is, but SSFIIT HD Remix is pretty much done at this point as this tourney is the first showing of the near final version (maybe final) with everyone playable. Here's some new footage featuring Vega, Guile, Fei Long, and Sagat in action (looks like Guile may get his old SFII voice back, or maybe it is an option to use it).

A brief teaser for the Dragonball movie

Yes it will suck... Nuff said.
